Calm, results-focused facial treatments selected by skin type and season — not by what is trending.
Book a Skin ConsultationEvery facial at Pulsekbeta begins with a skin assessment — your history, your environment, your concerns.
Victoria's climate — mild, often damp, with seasonal shifts between summer UV and winter overcast — has specific implications for skin. Barrier function, moisture retention, and sensitivity all respond to these patterns. Our skincare practitioner takes an intake at the first appointment that covers your current product routine, any known sensitivities or diagnosed conditions, recent sun exposure, and your hydration and dietary habits. This is not small talk — it changes which products are applied and in what order. We work with clinical-grade lines including Dermalogica and IMAGE Skincare, selected because their ingredient transparency makes it easier to isolate what is working for a specific client.
All treatments are available as a standalone session or in a course of three or six for progressive results.
A replenishing treatment for dehydrated or barrier-compromised skin. Uses hyaluronic acid layering and occlusive mask techniques to restore plumpness and reduce surface tightness in a single session.
Designed for reactive skin types. Uses fragrance-free, low-pH formulations and LED light therapy to calm visible redness without triggering further irritation. Typically recommended as a course of three.
A mild exfoliating treatment using enzyme or low-percentage acid formulations to improve skin texture and luminosity. Not offered to clients with active rosacea or compromised skin barrier — your intake assessment determines suitability.
Targets uneven skin tone and dullness using vitamin C serums, targeted masking, and gentle exfoliation. Results are progressive over a course of treatments; a single session delivers visible radiance but not permanent change.
“I have rosacea and I have had facials go badly wrong at other salons. At Pulsekbeta they read my intake form before I even sat down, used only the products they had said they would, and the redness I came in with was noticeably reduced by the end. That has never happened before.”

Clarity about scope keeps expectations realistic and results honest.
Our skincare services are professional aesthetic treatments, not medical procedures. We do not treat diagnosed dermatological conditions such as acne vulgaris, psoriasis, or eczema in a clinical sense — clients with active, diagnosed conditions are encouraged to work with a dermatologist alongside their facial appointments, not instead of one. We also do not perform injectables, laser treatments, or microneedling. If a client asks about these services during a consultation, we are glad to discuss what to look for in a specialist and which Victoria-area referrals we trust.
First-time skincare clients receive a complimentary 15-minute intake assessment before their first full treatment.
